Prior to Covid-19, our company was doing business as a physical, in-house detox clinic treating people that suffered from dependency to prescription medication and alcohol, such as opioids, benzodiazepines, amphetamines, etc.
Our method for detox is called “liquid tapering” or “micro-tapering” which slowly weans a person off their drugs. Our system is patent-pending and used to naturally taper someone off their drug or alcohol in 30 days. We also offer a 5-month and 10-month taper schedule for people that have a more difficult time managing the painful withdrawal symptoms. The all-natural comfort supplement we developed and give to our patients is called PainEze. PainEze softgels helps alleviate the mental and physical withdrawal symptoms as patients tapers off drugs and alcohol.
After several months of our business being shut down due to Covid-19, it became obvious that we had to restructure our business for people to get help from home. We adjusted our business model by simplifying the detox process, creating an instructional manual, video, and diary for our proprietary, at-home drug detox kit. We have many testimonials that our system is 100% natural and very effective.
The industry standard for most in-house detox facilities is to detox/taper a patient off their prescription drugs in 7 to 10 days. At the most, 30 days in rare cases. It has been done this way by clinics for many years. These clinics are able to accomplish this rate of speed by using various prescription drugs to replace the original drug, as well as other comfort drugs to alleviate the mental and physical symptoms associated with drug detox. Unfortunately, the patient is then faced with becoming dependent on the replacement prescription drug they are given and basically trade one addiction for another. We identified this problem and created a solution by developing our proprietary formulation with PainEze softgels. PainEze is also effectively used by people suffering from mild, moderate, and even severe pain. PainEze is primed to become the all-natural, non-addictive alternative to prescription painkillers.
Here is our 30-day taper schedule from our manual:
Type of Rx drug to detox from: Opioids (250 mg of Oxycodone per day)
Duration of titration taper: 30 days (300 ml liquid suspension = increase 10 ml titration each day)
Total number of liquid doses per day: 6 doses per day using 4 oz jars
Preparing Your Dose
1) Please refer to the program’s video to determine how much water you will use to mix with your pills and how much you will “toss” down the drain. 300 ml for dosing more than 1 X a day.
2) Pour the amount of water stated in the manual into the 16 oz mason jar.
3) Dissolve your pills in the water-filled mason jar with the lid on. (wait until pills are dissolved)
4) Shake it to create the liquid suspension. (it’s normal for “pill particles” to remain)
5) Use your syringe to remove and throw out the designated amount of “drug water” for that day.
6) Pour an equal amount of that water from your big jar into the smaller jars for precise dosing.
7) Place your smaller “dosing jars” of drug water into the refrigerator for daily dosing.
8) Take your first dose of drug water then add a little more water, swish, and drink to get residue.
9) Check off the date and corresponding milliliter on your taper schedule and you’re DONE!
Some Tips
- You must get stable on your “daily Rx or alcohol dosage” before starting your taper and hold when necessary to remain stable. (establish your daily dosage in order to create your taper rate)
- Be sure to have a continuing supply of the Rx drug you are taking throughout your taper.
- If using a “time-release” Rx drug, ask your doctor about switching to a “regular-release” Rx drug before starting a taper. (Time-release Rx drugs do not work with titration taper)
- If using an opioid antagonist, which means that it blocks the effects of opioids at the receptor sites, ask your doctor about switching to an actual opioid before starting a taper.
- If the pill does not dissolve in water, ask your doctor about switching to a soluble pill before starting a taper.
- If using different types of alcohol, switch to 1 type that equals the total amount of alcohol you normally consume per day and taper of that throughout the duration of the taper.
- Eat something (a few tablespoons of yogurt, some crackers, etc.) before and after taking the comfort supplements.
- Try to keep a journal next to your bed. Record anything unusual during the day – stress, etc.
- Be sure to pace your taper to judge how fast or slow your body will tolerate the titration. Slow and easy = SUCCESS!! This is not a race!! Please refer to the Attacking Rx Detox Manual and Videos for tips, especially if you take multiple daily doses.
- The duration of an Rx drug taper depends on a variety of factors, including; type of substance, dosage being taken, length of time person has been using the drug, severity of the chemical dependency, and individual health considerations.
How Does Titration Tapering Help? (scientifically proven)
When the brain becomes dependent on an addictive substance, the neurochemical systems involved can be damaged or hindered from operating properly. As described by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, this sometimes results in loss of nerve cells or neurotransmitter receptors or reduced the body’s ability to produce certain neurotransmitter receptors properly. Then when the drug is stopped, the brain is unable to produce the needed responses on its own, and it goes into shock, resulting in the withdrawal symptoms the individual experiences. Titration tapering helps to prevent this reaction by providing a precise, gradual taper and enabling the individual to step down from the drug without shocking the neurochemical system affected by loss of the drug. By tapering in such small amounts, the brain is still getting the drug and able to adjust to the slight decreases in dosage by relearning how to use the body’s own neurochemicals to replace it.
