MY STORY
Some of the greatest challenges in life often have very simple solutions. I worked my way through college as a personal trainer helping people get in shape. Soon after graduating college, I had 3 surgeries in 1 year and became addicted to prescription pain medication for the next 15 years. No matter how many times I tried I couldn’t get clean. I sought help from the best doctors, detox clinics, rehab centers, hypnotherapists, peer-support groups, etc., and none of it made a difference. I always ended up relapsing just as soon as the physical pain and mental cravings kicked in. The hardest part about breaking any addiction is overcoming the withdrawal symptoms. I knew there had to be some healthy, natural substance I could take to keep me satisfied while getting off these prescription drugs. Once I found a simple method to ease my pain and nullify my cravings, I stopped using and stayed clean. Throughout those 15 years while I was addicted to prescription drugs, I quit exercising and developed a very bad habit of eating whatever I wanted whenever I felt like it. After I got clean, it became clear to me that I was grossly overweight, out-of-shape, and unhealthy. So, I made the decision to lose weight and get fit, which led me to develop a plan. I knew there were tasty, natural foods I could eat instead of junk to stay satisfied. I took the same approach I used for getting off prescription painkillers and applied it to losing weight. Once I found a simple method to satisfy my hunger and nullify my cravings, I stopped eating junk food and lost 60 pounds in 6 months. Losing all that body fat motivated me to start exercising again, which shaped my body. That led me to adopt a next-level, self-care routine, which improved my mental and physical health. After helping other people do the same, I knew this natural replacement method could work for anyone, which is why I developed MacroBody.

Just like a recovering cocaine addict can’t use their drug and expect to maintain their sobriety. In both cases, the addict’s occasional use of drugs fuels a vicious cycle of relapse and addiction. I personally understood this fact of life better than anyone, which is why I knew how to win the food war and help others do the same.
Soon after my weight loss journey began, people saw my success and asked me for advice. Once I explained how I ate, they wanted me to give them a list of foods to buy so they could follow my natural replacement method and lose weight too.
